Description

This is my first prototype of a multiplayer networked game with Netcode for GameObject. There are no specific goals, just pure combat between players. If you get knocked down, you'll respawn in a few seconds. This small project was created to explore networked behaviors in Unity. I managed to implement a sword-fighting system where players can walk, run, jump, perform combos, and dodge attacks from opponents.


Known issue

Attack/Hit delay is noticeable for non-host players. Right now, only the host experiences smooth gameplay. If the host leaves the game, other players are still "connected," but things stop working properly, I haven’t handled host migration.


Controls

  • Move - WASD
  • Jump - Space Bar
  • Roll - Left Control
  • Sprint - Shift
  • Attack - Left Mouse
  • Secondary Attack - Right Mouse
